It has a capacity of 3.5 quarts (3.3 liters) and is 10" deep and 4-1/8" wide by 6-7/8" long. It is made from translucent white polypropylene plastic that is durable and impact resistant. It has molded feet to insure stability on the tabletop. To protect the contents from germs, spills, ans debris, it has holes to allow a hinged lid to be attached, and is notched to allow the lid to close over a ladle.
