Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I leave product in my Food Prep Table overnight?

A: Yes you can. But due to the significant airflow movement within the Food Prep Table you must securely cover the Food product to keep it from drying out.
Q: Can I Remove the Lid on my Food Prep Table during operations?

A: Yes, you can temporarily remove the lid for ease of operations. I suggest removing it only during Peak Volume and then return it to the Food Prep Table. The Hotter the Ambient Air temp in that location the harder compressor must work to maintain Food Temps.
Q: Can I push my refrigerated prep table up against the wall? If not, how much distance from the wall is suggested/required?

A: All refrigeration must be able to "breathe." Most prep units breathe from both the side as well as the back. Keep 6" gap around the compressor vents for proper air movement.
Q: Should I turn off my refrigerated prep table at night to reduce my energy usage and extend the life of the compressor?

A: Please do NOT turn off your food prep table unless you are doing so for service. When you turn on the unit after hours of being off, the compressor will have to over-work itself to reach the proper temperature. As a result, any cost savings from the previous night will be negated and you take the risk of the unit not being at proper holding temp when you need it fill it with product.
