Can Openers for the Commercial Restaurant Industry are classified under two categories: Manual and Electric. The Edlund U-12 is designed as a "Quick Gear Change" with a pull pin for easy blade replacement. Nemco makes the "Gearless" Can Opener that eliminates metal shavings and has a cutter module for a quick change out. As for the electric models, Edlund manufactures a variety of powered Can Openers that are rated as to how many can be opened per minute and per day.
