Food Warming Cabinets come in many sizes and applications. Every restaurant or commercial fool service operation uses them differently. The name "Food Warming" implies that the cabinet does the warming...it does not! The one corollary that needs to be stated is that all Food Warming Cabinets are made to 'hold' food only. The question one should ask is how many times will you need to access the cabinet? If it is more than once, then the insulated cabinet is a must. Once the Food Warming Cabinet door is opened, the ambient temperature inside will decrease rapidly. Therefore, if the cabinet is not insulated it will not be able to recover.
