Induction Ready Cookware can be used for conventional cooking and with Induction Cooktops. Induction Ready Vessels must be made of a ferromagnetic metal for Induction to work. The Induction Cook Top produces an oscillating magnetic field. This field induces an electric current in the pot. The current flows into the metal pot and produces resistive heating which heats the food. Our Induction Ready Cookware is made of stainless steel with a tri-ply bottom consisting of two layers of stainless steel surrounding an aluminum core. The Induction Vessels consist of stock pots,fry pans, saute pans and braziers. Manufacturers are Admiral Craft, Browne Halco which is ACF (American Culinary Federation) approved and Vollrath. All Induction Cookware is NSF approved.
