Rotation Labels

Food Rotation Labels are a requirement for all restaurants and commercial food service facilities. The FDA code states all prepared foods must be covered, labeled and clearly marked with contents and an expiration date. These labels come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Food Rotation Labels can be either dissolvable or removable. They are sold with a particular designated day of the week or they can be purchased with all seven days of the week. There are also day labels that are coded by color and labels that state, "use first." Manufacturers of the food Rotation Labels are Cambro and Day Mark.
