Thermometers (Duplicate)

Thermometers are required by the Board of Health for any restaurant or commercial food service operation. Fluke Comark Thermometers have digital stem and Infra-Red Thermometers with laser. Atkins Thermometers have developed a HAACP Thermometer called Coolit-Rite Cooling Validator which helps to keep you in compliance with HACCP food safety guidelines that outline that food must be cooled to 40 degrees or lower in less than four hours after cooking or hot holding. It has a programmable timer that tracks elapsed cooling time and a Thermometer that checks the current food temperature. We have the Pelouze Stem Thermometers with large dials, the Enerteck Digital with stem and the K Series that have interchangeable Temperature Probes. Keep in mind this rule of thumb for restaurant or commercial food service operations; Digital Stem Thermometers have a quick response time and the temperature is read at the tip. Stem Dial Thermometers are slow and less expensive and the stem needs to be placed at least one inch into the food product for accuracy.
