Walk-In Coolers / Freezers

What can you do when your reach-in refrigeration space just isn't enough? You add a new Walk-in Cooler or Walk-in Freezer. While storage coolers come in a variety of custom sizes, sometimes you just need a basic model quickly. ZESCO.com offers a selection of pre-configured walk-in coolers from Kolpak that can be shipped to your location in days. These Polar-Pak coolers are designed for inside use but can be installed in rooms with as little as 8" vertical clearance. They are truly self-contained and do not need access to a drain. Polar-Pak Walk-Ins are very easy to assemble yourself and only need an electrician to connect your cooler to electrical power.

Still, most customers opt for a more customized refrigeration option. When you speak with one of our ZESCO sales consultants, they will learn your refrigeration needs and build a custom walk-in quote for you based on available space, storage needs, and options like extended height ceilings, remote refrigeration or temperature monitoring. Be sure to ask about shelving options to maximize use of space.

Things to Consider:
  • Self-Contained vs. Remote Refrigeration: Polar-Pak series coolers and freezers include a self-contained refrigeration unit that can be located on the top or one side. Both have specific clearance requirements, so see Spec Sheets or speak with our experts for details. Box only configurations require a remote refrigeration system (sold separately).
  • Floor vs. No Floor: All self-contained units include a 4" insulated floor to better contain cold air. Box Only coolers can also be ordered without a floor, but this is only recommended when placed directly on a concrete slab on grade.
  • All Kolpak and Polar-Pak Coolers and Freezers include additional warranty coverage standard - One-year parts and labor on the panels, and a total of 5 years compressor coverage.
